Sanitary Packs
The first project undertaken by AWA to address the sanitary needs for school going girls above the age of puberty. These girls are the future mothers and contributors to our society. And it’s not just these girls that we are helping but- the whole community is positively affected when girls make smart choices. AWA has pledged to provide a ‘sanitary pack’ of 2 underwear’s and 6 reusable pads costing MK 5000/each. • Can be used for a duration of up to 2-3 years • Designed with a fasten to help keep towels in place, allowing better movement. |

Cervical Cancer Awareness
Malawi has one of the highest cervical cancer rates in the world, because of this it remains one of the prime reasons why women continue to lose their lives year on year – a shame given that these lives can be saved by providing them with an HPV preventative vaccine which be administered to young girls as a preventative measure. Which is why AWA will be targeting to vaccinate young girls under 12yrs, a total donation of MK 5,600,000. In addition AWA has pledged a further MK 12,000,000 to sponsor cervical cancer operations.
